This notice covers the website at multiglot.app. The Multiglot application has not been released yet; when it is, it will carry a notice of its own, because an application handles considerably more than a website does.

The short version: this site sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and recognises nobody. Three things touch personal data at all – the logs any web server keeps, a script that counts visits without identifying anyone, and the newsletter, which you have to ask for twice before we send you anything.

Who is responsible

Multiglot s.r.o. is the controller of everything described here: a company registered in Czechia, IČO 24343641, entered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague under file C 439624, with its registered office at Korunní 2569/108, Vinohrady, 101 00 Praha 10, Česká republika.

Write to hello@multiglot.app about anything on this page. We have not appointed a data protection officer, being neither a public body nor an organisation whose work calls for one, and that address reaches the person who deals with these questions.

What is processed

Serving the page

The site is hosted on Hetzner, run by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. When your browser asks for a page, the web server records the request: your IP address, the time, what was asked for, the referring page where there is one, and the user-agent string your browser volunteers. Those logs exist so that the site can be run and faults and abuse investigated, which is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f). They are kept for no longer than that takes, are never combined with anything else, and build a profile of nobody.

Counting visits

The site loads Plausible, run by Plausible Insights OÜ in Estonia, on servers inside the EU. It sets no cookie, writes nothing to your device and assigns no persistent identifier, so it cannot recognise you from one visit to the next, or follow you to another site. What it reports is aggregate: how many people read a page, roughly which country they read it from, which site sent them, and whether they were on a phone. The basis is again our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) – knowing which pages are read at all – and you may object to it at the address above.

If you sign up, your email address and the language you were reading in go to Brevo, run by Brevo SAS in France, which sends the mail on our behalf. Sign-up is double opt-in: nothing is subscribed until you follow the link in the confirmation message, and Brevo records that confirmation as evidence the consent was actually given. The basis is your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) and section 7 of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. Every message we send carries an unsubscribe link; you may also simply write to us. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, though it does not make what was already sent unlawful. We hold the address until you unsubscribe, and the record of your consent for a period afterwards, that record being the only thing able to show the messages were lawfully sent.

Writing to us

Email us and we have your address and whatever you chose to put in the message. Correspondence is kept for as long as the matter takes and a reasonable period after it, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.

Cookies

There are none. No cookies, no local storage, nothing at all written to your device – by us or by anything the page loads. That is why you are not asked to consent to any: the law requires consent for storing or reading information on your device, and nothing here does either.

Who else sees any of it

Brevo, for the newsletter. Plausible, for the visit counts. Hetzner, for the hosting, and so for every request that reaches the site. Each acts as a processor on our instructions under a contract, none may use the data for its own purposes, and the processing happens within the EU or EEA. Should that ever change, it will rest on the transfer safeguards the European Commission has approved, and this page will say so.

Personal data from this site is never sold, never passed to advertisers and never used for advertising.

What you can ask for

The GDPR gives you the right to ask us for:

a copy of the personal data we hold about you
correction of anything inaccurate in it
erasure of it
restriction of what we do with it
your data in a portable form
an end to processing we base on legitimate interests, by objecting to it

You can withdraw consent to the newsletter whenever you like, independently of all of that. Write to hello@multiglot.app and we will answer within a month. If we handle it badly, you can complain to the Czech supervisory authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz.

Automated decisions

There are none. Nothing here profiles anyone, scores anyone or decides anything about anyone automatically.

When the site changes what it does, this page changes with it. Last updated on 29 July 2026.
